About the Program
NASA’s OSTEM (Office of STEM Engagement) internship program offers students the chance to work directly with NASA engineers, research scientists, and others to grow their STEM skills. Internships can be full- or part-time and on-site or remote, depending on the applicant. NASA’s OSTEM internship leverages the organization's unique missions and programs to enhance and increase the capability, diversity, and size of the nation’s future STEM workforce.

I was tasked with working forty hours a week, which was not a problem at all. The department also allowed me to flex my hours a little bit to make my days more comfortable and fit my lifestyle.”

The interview was behavioral and did not involve a live coding session or anything like that. I know that this was a very competitive opportunity and I'm lucky to have been picked for it. One key standard in fielding their applicants was how good your code was on any Github repos you may have.”
